Lynn Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in EMDR therapy, and the Founder and Director of The Center for Mindfulness, LLC at Mind Body Knox.
She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and holds a Master of Science in Clinical Social Work with over 20 years of experience in counseling and social work. Lynn has 12+ years of experience as a trauma therapist specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based treatment and comprehensive therapy. She is an EMDR Institute Facilitator, and EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Consultant. Lynn currently serves as the Co-Coordinator and Approved Consultant for the East Tennessee Trauma Recovery Network, part of the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program.
